Shallow Sport Boats is a family owned and operated boat manufacturing business founded by Rex and Connie Hudson in 1983. Our family has been in the fiberglass boat manufacturing business for over 58 years with our own original designs by Rex Hudson and his father Willis Hudson. Willis also owned, designed and manufactured Falcon boats and owned and operated WW Marine in Houston, TX from 1952 through the mid eighties. Willis Hudson was a pioneer in his trade and was one of the very first persons to manufacture fiberglass boats anywhere in the world. In mid 1983, Rex and Connie Hudson founded Shallow Sport boats with their original 18'7" Classic boat design. The boat line became the choice of most professional guides all along the Gulf coast throughout the 80's and 90's and is now the leading choice of seasoned anglers. Rex and Connie’s son Wes Hudson and his wife Kyra have been running the comany since 2004 and purchased it in 2007 . Shallow Sport Boat’s designs are specifically engineered to run and fish in deep water and in ultra skinny lakes and bays.
